  I live in Myrtle Beach south Carolina i have a female friend who lives in Green Valley. She wanted to call the cops because an ex boyfriend walked into her apartment and refused to leave. I call the cops when, after telling me she's afraid and will possibly have to leave Nevada, and we get off the phone, I call her back but I get know answer. When they arrive and she's not there so they resolve the situation with the ex so that he has to work it out which one will leave if the other refuses to go. So it doesn't matter that he doesn't live there he has the option to stay. That's Nevada law or is Henderson/Las Vegas on another planet. He was already attested for holding her in her apartment on a prior occasion. She moved to another apartment and now the police say he had the right to the new place. What are you not allowed to break up. Wtf. So now she has to find somewhere to live because she's afraid to go into the apartment alone with him. He did hold her against her will before. I guess because he didn't put his hands on her this time it's ok to intimidate her to the point she's fears for her life. He's a six ft tall military vet. If something happens to her I'll do everything in my power to see that the procedure and people are held accountable. A man can just tell a woman he's staying in her apartment and the police don't see a problem with that. Now he son, who is supposed to visit for Christmas won't have the comfort of his mom's home because the police found his story credible. He's on no lease or any paperwork but has a rocky to her home. Within an hour he started selling her stuff out of her home. Thank you on her behalf west henderson police department. Not 72 hours after posting this the guy tried to hold her against her will because she resides to take out a title loan to give him money. Luckily he's a coward and she has friends who will do what the police won't, protect her. This on the day before Christmas eve. Now we see why people don't trust the police anymore. Because the police allow a stranger to claim that he lives somewhere he's not on the lease and the gated community she lives in has orders he's not to be allowed near the apartment maybe she'll be able to get help from security guards.

  CLOSED!! DON'T GO TO THIS OFFICE IT IS CLOSED!!!! Would are Tax Dollars not pay for Accuracy especially at a Public Servants Office??? Such a simple thing to do as well as keeping your Website up to date. Too much work I suppose. This was a HUGE inconvenience, waste of Time , Gas plus risk of Heat Stroke! I drove over to the Green Valley Station to get a fix-it-ticket signed off. Mind you the temperature yesterday was 113 degrees. the vehicles Air Conditioning was not working, we get there and low and behold the office is CLOSED, there was a taped up sign redirecting to the Department on Lead St. in Old Downtown. When you call the Green Valley Office for information to make sure that they are open, at the time one would be going there, the recorded message states the "Green Valley Office is OPEN", Monday- Sunday, 7:30am - 5:00pm ( 7 days a week). If this branch is no longer doing business why would it Not be Stated on the Automated Message? Our tax dollars at work....

  I always visit the station when I sell valuable things on craigslist or OfferUp. It's a safe place with cameras and law enforcement and so it weeds out weirdos who might want to scam you. There have been times where it's too far for some people to drive, but once in a while, I get the feeling that some people just are comfortable meeting at the station. Gee, I wonder why. Even if the lobby is closed because of the time of day, only honest people are likely to meet in the parking lot.
